Disability Expo 2013

  • adminadmin

Our team at Innovative Seating and Mobility has been working a long time to help help present an event where people with disabilities, their families, therapists and other healthcare professionals can gain knowledge and empowerment (and have a little fun!). We believe that North and Central Texas needs a forum for companies with disability products and services to reach out and enhance the lives of this Community. That event will be on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 7!!

We are very proud to again partner with the ‘Family Support Council of Tarrant County’ who is hosting the Disability Expo! This year, the Expo will be held on Thursday, November 7 from 5:00pm until 8:30pm and will be held at Fossil Ridge High School, 4101 Thompson Rd, Fort Worth, TX 76244. The best news of all: this is event is FREE!

Yes, FREE!

Our ISM team is currently reaching out and inviting every equipment manufacturer and Sales Representative that we work with in Texas to take part, and we plan to have over 10 booths of different equipment vendors to allow you to see these products in person; not just in pictures on a table. Vendors range from Easystand standing frames, Kidwalk Mobility Systems, Freedom Designs wheelchairs and seating and positioning, Otto Bock mobility and positioning products, Ki Mobility Wheelchairs, Permobil Power Mobility, Ride Designs custom seating products, and TiLite wheelchairs as well. We are also working to add more products and vendors to this list. This is a huge opportunity, and again, it’s FREE for you to come and see.

Beyond the equipment, there will be over 30 booths of other healthcare organizations, therapy companies, agencies, community organizations, support groups, and self advocates who will share information about resources for individuals of all ages to promote self-determination and an enhanced quality of life in Tarrant County.

Whether you are an ISM client, family member, therapist, or friend, make plans to attend and also help promote this event. There are many needs for those with disabilities in North Texas, and this event can offer much hope and opportunity for those who need it!

We will see you on November 7! SAVE THE DATE!
